It’s Spring in the Northeast Kingdom!
To be sure, The Northeast Kingdom is famous for long winters and deep, deep snow. That makes for some great spring skiing as well as a lot of high water for boaters. The first thaw also starts the sap running from Vermont’s legendary Sugar Maples. Sugaring is a hard job, but the teamwork and companionship helpers feel always make it a rewarding experience. And when the snow finally does melt, Vermonters are out savoring the sight of dead grass and bare earth, preparing for a summer full of healthy fun
